HealthMEDX Vision Obtains Pre-market Conditional CCHIT Certified® 2011 LTPAC Status

OZARK, Missouri, November 7, 2011 – HealthMEDX’ electronic health record (EHR) HealthMEDX Vision version 7.1.10 has passed Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT®) long term post-acute care (LTPAC) inspection, and is a pre-market conditional CCHIT Certified® 2011 LTPAC EHR with additional certification for both the Skilled Nursing Facility and Home Health. CCHIT certification for LTPAC requires the EHR to demonstrate that it meets comprehensive functional, interoperability and security criteria developed by a workgroup broadly representative of the industry and designed to support primary clinical needs for LTPAC providers. HealthMEDX is also moving forward with the final step in the full certification process – verification of implementation at client sites.
